Well Christmas is long come and gone, and school is back in session. Hurray!
Well this term seems more difficult than last, but thsta the way it goes isn't it? It never gets any easier. I really do not have anything to post about at this time. unles syou want to hear about this test i have to write soon and everything its on and about like implementing a "CSMA/CD" network as aposed to a "flat" network. Well with a flat netwrok you have the buns and every broadcast is broadcasted to everything in the network wheather it is supposed to recieve it or not. But in the CSMA/CD there are no collision domains, its all switches instead... well i better stop, i might get sued for teaching you people for free....

That picture up there is of the new Revolutionary iphone, its better than anything microsoft has put out yet... its cell phone, ipod, blackberry, and its all on a touch screen... its so ridiculously amazing it would blow your mind if you bought one.

Everyone loves Christmas

I havent blogged in a long time. And for all of you who may still read this i apologize, but i havent had much free time in the last month. But i am posting now about the holiday season.

You see, I like everyone else in North America at least, Love Christmas... Well maybe not everyone.. but the majority does. Now one thing i Have come to notice, and get irritated over, is how people want to ruin Christmas for everyone else by saying X-mas, and other things that take away from the celebration of Christ's Birth. Because THATS why we celebrate Christmas (obviously) thats where it came from. So, why do the people who don't believe in God or hate Jesus or whatever still celebrate it? Is it fair for them to reap the benefits of of a few days off of work if they don't believe in why they are getting them? I mean common. I'm not Jewish, so im not expecting to get presents during Hanukkah. so why should non believers be aloud to take advantage of a saviors birth, they don't even believe is a savior? Or They can call it whatever they want, but its not Christmas they are celebrating.

And all these people from other countries saying they find it offensive to call it Christmas? because they are of a different faith or race? What happened to being able to tolerate others beliefs? We don't go to Saudi Arabia and try to Force all of them to call thier holidays what we want. Now I know this is a free country, but WE should be free to call it Christmas every bit as much as they are free to not.

Anyways I think thats good for now... give ya something to chew on.

Its that special tim eof the year agin. Altho it has only snowed once... People complain when they seen it snow... but i mean its Almost teh first of December.... I can see if its snowing in October.. but November? no, its supposed to snow. Why do we complain that its cold in the winter? but in teh summer wish it was cold? Haha an old question that is easily answered.

Anywho enough of my senseless yabberings... I know people will be complaining about.

Boston Pizza

SO the other day at Lunch time, Shannon, Jim, Chris, and I went over to Boston Pizza. It was a good time, except for when Jim had his Blackberry stolen. Anywho, we got to the end of the meal where you gotta do the thing where theres a transaction of money for the services they supply you with.

SO as shannon was paying for his, I read outloud a big sign that said "We're all friends here!" because we really all were friends. So the waitress said "Are you being sarcastic?" and I said... "I was just reading the sign you know....but we really are all friends here" and she looked at me weird. Is it so hard to believe that we were frineds? i mean, we ate together.... chances are we knew eachother.

So she come back with a "Well I just thought you might of been reading it sarcasticly". I'll tell ya, It was a great day.

The American Government went into Iraq. They used claims that Saddam Hussein had weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and that he had ties with the 9/11 attacks. NOw, everyone knows there is nothing there, they got "bad intel" and since they just so "happen to be there", they are helping themselves to some oil. The President also openly admits that Iraq never had ANY ties what-so-ever to the 9/11 attacks. So Why are they in Iraq?? When Iran is obviously the threat now, aswell as North Korea.

They are willing to do something about a country who posed NO threat at all, but dont dare go into a country where they would actually have to fight someone.

Hello all. I have had such a crazy summer, I dont know to begin. How about the beginning...
I started my summer working at Staples (the business depot) in Moncton. I was hired as a computer technician. But then, they said that there wasnt enougth computers comming in for me to fix (which was a lie because part of my job as a salesmen on the floor, was take the computers in and get the owners to tell me whats wrong with it. Then put it in the tech room). Then after a month, they started letting 17 yr olds who knew little about computers work on them. This made me mad because they wouldnt pay me as a technician (2 dollors more/hour). So I quit, and my fianc'es mother told me to move down home (Pennfield) and work at Cookes for the rest of the summer. So i did.

I know the people who own "Cookes" so i was fairly confident i would get in easily. I did.

Then I went to PEI with the Cookes and Krista. we went out in thier boat and stayed for a few days there. It was great.

And now I am on Grand Manan for the night and then im going back to work for "the man".

So that was my summer basically, It was a good and eventfull summer, and I hope yours was too.

Well, this one isnt, I dont think I did very good on my exam today, But I do have another in the same subject on Tuesday. Just have to to do better at that one.

Ok heres the meat of it all.. I went to Staples business Depot on Sunday to buy some good paper to print my resume on. They had job posting there for computer people. So i filled an application out and the next day they called me for an interview today at 3!! i am rather excited... as long as the money is ok...and it wont conflict with anything.

So heres the best part. Today I am getting ready to go to school and on the radio, hey were discussing how someone cant think of a good sign off name on a new tv show. So they said jokingly, they should just use "you stay class Seattle" (from Anchorman). Now, for those of you who can recall correctly, that is not the phrase. So i called them up, not expecting to get through (cause i never do when I call them). But after one ring the guy picked up and i told him my name and such and he said "Curtis, Im very happy you called, This world needs people liek you, infact, I WANT you to call me anytime you hear us make a mistake agian ok? (and he was serious)" I was like YEAH, and he put me on teh radio to say the correct one lol.... it was cool. And i got it all on tape.

I have added a link to a flash video about the war in Iraq. It shows how the military is fighting a war mostly with unarmed civilians. It also goes good with the song in it ("No Bravery" by James Blunt).

***But we warned, this video is very graphic, I wouldnt recommend it for just anyone. So if*** you feel questionable of weather you want to see it. Then dont. Its just sad and is kind of gory.

For these reasons, i didnt put it on my site cause it is just something you make people watch, although it is good (not good in the "oh its good all this stuff is happening" way, but it is well put together)

Here is my New Post, atlast. It hasnt been THAT long, I have gone longer without haveing a new post. Anyways, its here. and thats all that really matters.
So yes, wile I am posting this new post I just would liek to say "Hi" and incase you havent realized it yet, I am just talking nonsense.

So yes, That is a picture of the Pentagon getting hit by the so called "757". Now some people belive that a plane is supposed to crash into that. Now I have seen this footage before... it was leaked out awile ago. But I am curious as to why the governmnet held it so long, perhaps they needed time to get a good video editor in there. And wheres all the other security tapes?

Anyways, this is what a 757 looks like:

Now, i dont think that looks anything like that tiny poof of smoke in the first frame of the footage.... infact, that wasnt even there in the original footage.
SO, it leads one to believe that perhaps a missle hit it, not a plane. Oh and of course it would make perfect scense that no plane debris/wreckage on site.

Anyways, you decide what you want to believe.

Bernard Lord came to visit my School her eon Monday. He had an Anouncment...he is giving just My school 2 million dollors to build a bigger building for the mechanical, and engineering programs here at NBCC Moncton. This will not only help out all of teh trade programs, but give other programs more room to exoand.

Thats what he said anyways lol.

I wanted to pie him, But I only had a ceasar salad. And everyone knows I wouldnt rather eat the salad, then throw it... unless I am throwing it and George W. Bush... then a ceasar salad would be alright to throw.

I had a Grand weekend here in Moncton. The sun was out, the days were warm, it was like summer. On Sunday, My friend and I took a stole downtown to see all the crazies, and disapointed we were not.
Also, On Saturday when I went to the mall. I got 3 DvD's. Space Balls. Zoolander, and UHF. together totalling a whopping 30 bucks... i thought it was tasty.

Anyways, I will be off for now, as of now, I am off........now.

This past week or so I have been majorly busy and stressed. But now exams and all are done.
Krista and I are going to my moms's (in Bangor) for our Easter Break. so yeah.

This weekend was full of emotion at the AC. Our girls team has won after try 4 times :), but the boys team had a run for thier money, and just didnt pull through. We could sit here ALLLLL year, and explain why they "should " have won. I hoping to get a job at this small shop just up the road...its like bits and bytes... like they can trade stuff in or just buy stuff or just sell stuff... but it is better than bits and bytes. I had a full weekend on my hands. First off Friday night, we played Holland College, and Lost. Which sucked because none of our shots would fall for us in teh second half... they just kept bouncing off teh back board. Anyways, then Krista and I went to see "Fun with Dick and Jane" Which i thought was funny, but It wasnt quite what i was expecting. Then then Sunday.

Sunday we went to Halifax to play against NSCC Akerley. The gym was small. The players were trying to kill us, but all in all, it was a Fun Trip.

Hello all, I have been thinking a lot about who I would vote for in this election. I realized that beig in Moncton, i would have to come home and vote, because my information is still ran through Grand Manan. Also, even if I DID get to vote, I have chosen not to.

This is because I have thought a lot about it and NONE of the parties show anything that I find imprtant, without cutting something else important or screwing us over somehow. I realize that there will never be a perfect party to vote for, but this whole think is just a big mess.

Better than I thought

It turns out, I did better than I thought in my classes, I actually improved most of my classes. I did fail pc hardware because aparently, My lab partner never showed up and I didnt get my lab in. He told me he was going to pass it in, but he never came to school ever again !!! so I have to write a sub something or rather exam and as soon as the teachers hit 60% they stop marking and they throw teh test away and you pass it. So im oing to study hard and do the test next week.

Why ?

There is something that has been on my mind over the past few months off and on, that I Just don't seem to understand. Why is it that "The World" is so excepting of other religions, but not Christianity?? Now I know that there are fights and wars going on because of Religion, but more so in North America, If you are Jewish, or Muslim, or something else, people can tolerate it, its ok that your not aloud to drink, do drugs, have pre maridle sex, and so on. But why is it that when you mention that your religion says you can't do something, and your a Christian, its this whole really big deal and everyone throws a fit over it? It doesnt make sense!!!! The World is a messed up place. I know that Christianity is NOT the only religion prosecuted, by far. But I mean in this culture of ours.

I hope you all understand what im trying to say.

We Played the BBC Blazzers at teh Sussex Reginal High School on Saturday. It was a pretty close game in teh first half, but in teh second half we pulled away and we ended up winning 71-49. He even wished me a Merry Christmas!!!

This weekend I played 2 games of basketball. We played Akerly (the team we lost by 1 to) and Truro Community College. We beat Akerly by 12 points, and we beat Truro 98-50 something. It was great.

Hey people, It has snowed agian, and this stuff stayed on teh ground. Its not on the roads or sidewalks, but it stayed almost everywhere else. Also, there is black ice EVERYWHERE. I had a hard time walking across teh school parking lot to get to class because its all one sheet of ice. I saw a few people slip and slide on it too, its was most excellent.

Anyways, I must be off to seize the day.

Second Snow

I looked outside and I saw the ground covered with snow. And it was still comming. I was so excited that I made a snowball and went to my roomates room ( who fell asleep with his door open wile watching a movie) and through it at him yelling "it's Snowing!!!" and he was not happy for some reason. He didnt seem to believe me until i went and got a snowball almost the size of my head and threatnd to hit him with it.

This Weekend I went to the Rock. I havent been home for awile, and I needed to get some of my Winter clothes. So I get here, and EVERYONE runs off to Booster instead of hanging out with me. Bad Tim, Bad Bad Tim. Oh well, im sure "Booster" was better than hanging out with "me!"

Sorry folks for my absence of bloggage latley, I have been busy with school and what not. Not too much has happened over the last few days, except i spent the weekend with Krista. It was alot of fun. We didnt even do that much, just hungout, went for a walk al around town, and saw a movie. Even tho it wasnt too much ( just spending time togther) it was awsome.

I just have to say, I have the best sense of humour. When I walk down the hallways at NBCC, and I see notes on the bullitan boards something about a lost pet, and how if no one claims them in such a time, they will be put down. I love ripping off the phone numbers at the bottom and throwing them away. Man, is that ever great fun.

But seriously, we have a baskeball tournament this weekend and I am excited. although my girl friend (Krista) will only be there for one game, and it is he one game i will proabbly not even play in, so yeah. Anyways, thats my life up untill now.

Not much has happend for the last few days. I went to the mal with a couple of guys (Nick and Luke). We were standing at the bus stop (waiting for the bus) and we were just talking when Nick says " WHATS THIS CHEESE IN MY NUCKLES?!?!?" and it was the greatest thing. So he started sucking on his nuckles trying to get the cheese out/off lol.

Unfortuantly, this blog has nothing to do with cake. I am back from the Rock again, and it was a pretty good trip, considering that it rained all weekend and that our basement flooded. Oh well, Grand Manan got the worse of the storm out of Moncton, Saint John, fredericton, and everyother place it may have rained.

Hockey (not the ice kind)

I went to a church gym with my good friend Lorne Hammond. Some of you may remember him, but he moved here to Moncton in grade 4 so maybe not. anyways, we played ball hockey. It is liek street hockey only not in the street lol. I was nervous at firt, but I took right off and scored 5 goals in the night. And played pretty good too.

My calf muscle is really sore, so sore i am having trouble walking around the school lol, oh well its FUN. and thats al i can say. For now. Toodles .

It is Tuesday October 4th 2005 and I just got done my 2nd day of tryouts for the school team. On the first day there were almost 30 people there, today there were 10. We ran really hard, I was covered in sweat ( gross eh?) but as much as I wanted to, I did NOT give up. I realy hope I make, but if not, it is not the end of the world...... this time.

I am also going home to Grand Manan this weekend for Thanksgiving. It is sure to be a blast. Aswell as a nice break from school.

Basket Ball @ NBCC

Last night at 6 there were tryouts for the basketball team here. I figue I would go. So i get there, and we did 10 x's the running and motion we ever did in high school. I thought I was going to fall down and NOT get up.

My back feels liek there is a metal rod shoved up in instead of a spinal chord. and the fact that I was sick didnt help either. I feel much worse today, but all for the price of basketball lol. The drills and stuff were fun, It was cool to be back in the game and meets guys from the school.

There is another tryout tomite, and 2 more next week. I am going to see ifi can miss the one tomite and go next week because I am sick. Not that it makes much difference tho, there is a lot of talent at this school. Oh well, I had fun lol.

I have been trying for a week to figure out what to put on here, But nothing interesting has been hapening in my life for the past week! So then I thought of why hasnt it ? Well, I have been sick the past week. It started off as a stuffy nose, now im coughing and stuff. Which really stinks because BASKET BALL TRYOUTS ARE TODAY!! and im sick. SO that makes me feel worse. Oh well, What can I do? turn back the hands of time?...... thats not a bad idea.....

Flooded Apartment

At appoximently 10:23 pm, I walked though the kitchen, and into the bathroom. I was in there for about 5 seconds (blowing my nose) and then my roomate Joel yelled "Curtis!, if you have anything on the floor you better move it". So i walked out, very confused, and fell on the floor laughing. The entire kitchen floor was covered in an inch of water.

We all jumped up and started grabbing mops and calling our lanlord, and picking up our stuff. My roomates usuing words ive never heard before (because they said them in French) and I was helping them get there stuff out of there rooms (which had water all over the floor). Finally, I opened my door expecting the worse, but there was no water at all. Eventually, a very little bit got in. Just enough that I needed a mop, but nothing compaired to Joels room.

His box spring, Priceless rug. extention chords, lol All kinds of stuff were ruined.

It is now 11:33, and clean up is almost over.

Comapq Computers Suck

Last night I went down the street to the electronics store to buy RAM for my PC. I bought a 128MB stick. I went home, installed it. and then it kept saying error. So i called my roomate in and he looked at it and neither of us could figure out why it wasnt working.

Then he realized that Compaq computers only work properly when extra componets (like RAM) are Comapq manufactured. I was so mad, still kind of T.O'd (sorry for the language) about it. Oh well... its an old Computer anyways. Time to upgrade, and Throw this one off a buliding (sorry Mom).
